Okay - so I've been down & out after 2 weekends of boutiques, super saturday's & catalog parties, but I am back! So what happened? Let me tell ya... I thought I was super-mom-prenuer, but I SO wasn't! I learned pretty quickly that I definately have limits & unfortunatley, this blog got the short end of the stick. Sorry. I guess that's part of the learning curve in running your own business: sometimes you just can't do it all! So as a result of my 'careless & reckless' {yes, we watch a lot of little mermaid around here} behavior, I've learned I need to make things a little more realistic. I will still be hosting give-aways on vinylicious friday's - don't you worry your pretty little head, I'm not letting that go! The give-away, just might not always be a new design, that's all. I'm in love with the whole idea of definitions as home decor! I actually designed this one quite some time ago & have kept it under lock & key...until now, because it is so personal to me. So I have to admit, when I was designing it & researching what I'd like to write...I cried the ENTIRE time! It really is from my heart & is what MY definition of family is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It really helps bring into perspective & remind us how we should value & treat our families! k, I'm starting to cry again...I'm such a baby - gosh (sniff)!

Anyway - today's design, "Grand Impressions - Piano Keys" is one I've been thinking about for a while now & finally got around to! It's for all you pianists out there (I use to be once-upon-a-time). And the beauty of this design, is that it is expandable! You can add another decal to either side & make it as looong as you'd like! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! There's just something about the simplicity of a piano that is so beautiful. It'd be really cute with a saying along it too, like...."Life without music would be *flat* (but with the little symbol instead)! I'm sure we could come up with a bunch more quotes. Today's design is this stylin' topiary! I've been craving a new topiary for my house lately & decided this is the solution! I think it will be awesome up above my staggered cupboards in my kitchen...kinda like a shadow of a topiary in the background of all the shizzle up there! That'll work right? (Joel will be so proud of me actually 'hooking' our own home up with some vinyl)!
